Vicqi has worked in pharmacies for almost 16 years. First, in a large community pharmacy in the CBD and sometime later in a hospital pharmacy before taking on the Staff Development role at RPH and then at Fiona Stanley. When the role then became available to work in the Hills through the opening of Mundaring Village Pharmacy, Vicqi jumped at the chance to work in the community she has lived in for most of her young life! Vicqi holds a Cert III in Retail Pharmacy & regularly seeks to extend her knowledge base in natural medicine and health education. Vicqi was also the WA State Finalist Pharmacy Assistant for 2017 and she loves meeting new patients, talking to regulars and finding any excuse to laugh throughout the day. Vicqi & her husband raise their 3 kids in the hills.
From work experience in Year 10 at the Bayswater Pharmacy, Damien knew being a pharmacist was his path. After briefly working in various pharmacies throughout High School, Damien studied a Bachelor of Pharmacy and then went on to climb the managerial ladder thanks to roles at Northam & Belmont.
After striking up a conversation with Jana outside Mundaring Coles (where many a good decision is made!) Damien took a role at Gidgegannup Pharmacy awaiting the opening of Mundaring Village Pharmacy where now manages. In his down time, Damien is a hockey fanatic; playing for Old Guildfordians in the winter and the legendary summer season ‘HillzBoiz’ team.
Ashley is a certified pharmacy assistant with a Cert III + 4 years experience. She’s a long time Hills resident and loves the lifestyle and culture of the Hills where she raises her twin boys. Before her pharmacy studies, Ash worked as assistant manager at a childcare centre and has a Diploma in Children’s Services where she forged a successful career for over a decade. Since the birth of her sons, Ashley has found an increased interest in health and natural medicines & how these can complement other medications. She values the space allowed at Mundaring Village Pharmacy to explore this learning and being able to share her knowledge with patients.
